Magpie Murders (Susan Ryeland, #1)

It took me a few days to finish this book, not because I wasn't interested, it was a case of not having time. Having just been to the UK for a wedding and visiting family and friends, and then having a whistle stop in Singapore, I haven't had much time. But I managed to finish it on my way home and wow thoroughly enjoyed it.
Alan Conway hands his latest Atticus Pund mystery in to this publishers and a couple of days later is found dead at this home, presumed to be suicide. His editor Susan Reyland spent the weekend reading this book Magpie Murders only to find that the last chapter is missing. Circumstances leads her to believe Alan Conway's death may not have been suicide and so begins to do her bit of investigating.
If you love Midsomer Murders, Poirot, etc you'll love this. I can just see this being made into a TV drama, ooooh let's hope.
