I know plausibility is not a characteristic most seek in chick-lit, but I do expect some identifiable relation to recognizable human motivations in my fairy tale reading, and this had none. Why we're to believe a wealthy stud falls for a bookish and frumpy introvert, I have no clue. Sure, it happens, but I want to know *why*. Give me something real to hold onto as you lead me into happily-ever-after, please!
