Ich brenne für dich (Shatter Me, #3)

I finished this book in just a few days, and that itself should make it clear that I liked it. I really liked it! But I didn't like it as much as the first two books in the trilogy.
Again, Tahereh Mafi did a great job. The writing style was beautiful, I absolutely loved it. And I also came to love these characters so much! Throughout the entire trilogy, Juliette develops so much, and now, in the final book, she has become a strong and independent young woman. And Kenji. Omg I love him, he's the best! Then there is Adam. Oh, Adam. I really loved this guy in the first two books, and I was shocked by this development. I think it was a bit exaggerated, he totally didn't feel like Adam anymore, so I was a bit disappointed with this. And finally, Warner. I always had biig issued with him, but since I read the companion story from Warner's POV (Destroy Me), I felt a connection to him, and I really could not hate him any longer. He is an amazing character! But I think that the relationship between him and Juliette developed a bit too quickly...
And that's the one issue I had with Ignite Me: the pacing. While during the first half of the book didn't happen much, the ending felt quite rushed. The first half wasn't boring, but I would've wished for some more details and some longer chapters in the end. I missed some of Juliette's typical inner monologue and it would've also been nice to get to know a bit more about how the future of Sector 45 will look like.
So all in all this was only close to 4 stars to me - maybe 3.75?! I still enjoyed this book very much and I think it's an appropriate conclusion to the trilogy.
