Everyone wants to know who Jacob is, and everyone has an opinion on him.
There鈥檚 little plot in Jacob鈥檚 Room, it's more of a character study, The story is like following Jacob around a series of impressions of this or that observer (his mother, his lovers and his friends), the place being this or that place and time, his childhood, his college days at Cambridge and his travels, ending with his death in WWI.
i enjoyed it, Virginia's style of writing is Beautiful! 鈾�
