This book is banal and crass; but above all it is deeply irritating. It is exactly the sort of book you would expect from an over-educated smart arse who has probably spent his entire life assuming that he has something wildly original to say. He thinks that he is James Joyce, but even Yootha Joyce would be ashamed of this tripe.
I picked this up from my local Underground Station library. I shan't be allowing anyone else to make the same mistake. I have taken steps to ensure that it is properly recycled in the hope that it is reincarnated into something better. Something like Mills & Boon.
