This volume definitely isn’t as entertaining as the previous one. It’s basically just Kyoko preparing for her samurai movie audition, and stressing out about the girl who supposedly attacked Ms Koenji for the role. Also, she freaks out for a while about not getting a White Day gift from Ren, which I’m sure was not intentional.

I miss seeing Kyoko interact with Ren, who we barely see at all in this one - just a few texts at the beginning. There’s also no Sho. We at least get some good Moko interactions, but it’s mostly training.

Luckily, I had taken so long to read this that I have 2 more volumes I can read right away!
