The da Vinci Code (Robert Langdon, #2)

Pretty much a pulp mystery buried under a ton of questionable history and conspiracy theory.
Since I'm a fan of all three of those things, I had fun with the book.
The history and the cool settings ( a murder mystery set in the Louvre! That idea alone got me to cut Brown a lot of slack over the weaker bits) help you to forget that the characters are pretty flat and the motivation of nearly all the bad guys is a bit feeble.
A fun no brainer that gets a few extra points because it got people discussing history.
