i had the uncanny privelege of watching the movie two nights after i finished the book. ~wow~ if i didn't love gogol bordello already...

such a moving book.
i'll admit it's easy for me to get lost when he flashes back and forth between the towns and the dates [nothing new] so i reread a *lot* which definitely didn't hurt me.

i wanted to go find Trachimbrod, myself. such storytelling.

i've recommended it to everyone i've seen since i finished.
