Maybe it's just because the main character in this book was in high school/college at the same time that I was, but this book really struck a chord with me. I literally could not stop reading it. I loved all of the 80s & 90s references--the music, the hair, the clothes, etc.--some of which were obscure and that I had long forgotten (or blocked from my memory).
