This is a cleverly written book, the writing is crisp and clear, the characters are intriguing and well-written. Lee Winter is an extraordinary writer of complex and complicated plots, and this story is a fine example of some of her best work. Not everyone could make a cold-blooded assassin into a heroine that readers will cheer for. She made her human, not an easy feat. I finished the story wanting to know more about the characters and what happened to them in the future.
