This was fun and fast-paced. I enjoyed it even though I only read the first book in this series (Boneshaker) and none of the others in-between. The story in the book was self-contained enough and mentions of earlier events came up naturally in the text so I didn't feel like I was missing important pieces. I would probably the intervening books as well since I like Priest's writing and this series is very inventive.
