"I would be curious to read the first published version of this novel before stephen king was able to add in the cut material to see if it actually made the book better or not.
I get the impression that when he added in the cut material he slightly revised the text to include more relevant material for the time of the revision. Nightmare on elm street and material girl weren't out when the novel was first written."
