4 out of 5 stars! ⭐️ I really enjoyed reading this book. I was so happy to check-in with the clan and to see how they were doing after the war. Even though the novella was short - I still loved how the author managed to convey the after-war emotions to the reader. It wrapped up some questions that were left behind in A Court Of Wings and Ruin and also got me curious for the next book! ❤️

So here is what the fantasy novella is about: This story bridges the events in A Court of Wings and Ruin and the upcoming novels in the series. Feyre, Rhys and their companions are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly changed world beyond. But Winter Solstice is finally near, and with it a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, she finds that those dearest to her have more wounds than she anticipated - scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.
What I really loved was that we got a glimpse of the next book that is to come out very soon. I am so excited to see where the author will take Nesta’s story! I must say I am really looking forward to Nesta & Cassian going to the Illyrian Mountains. That’s gonna be so much fun. 🤭😂 I also liked the fact that several chapters were based on other character’s points of view. Although when it came to reading other character’s POV it brought more questions which was a bit annoying, but it set things up for the next book. It was a 4 stars read because it was a good book but nothing massively spectacular happened...🧐
« And in the end, though, we'd saved each other. All of us had. » - Sarah J. Maas, ‘A Court of Frost and Starlight (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3.1)
