The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Markhaddon is really interesting and useful in the purpose to learn. I would recommend it to all of them who wants to learn more about autism, how everyone is unique and see the world from different eyes. But basing my thoughts of the summary on the cover I would probably not read it. It sounds boring and it reflects the beginning until the conflict came in. Afterwards it became more and more interesting. The theme is right, you should not judge a book by its cover.
I got plenty strong emotions and thoughts while reading and I personally felt sorry for the narrator through the whole book. The narrator had his own routines and was really obsessed with math problems that he used to solve to focus. I got to see the world from his eyes and saw how people treated him differently and how no one never got him.
The notation is rethinking and limits the reader with information, who got me thinking about all the clues. The notation complement the fact that the content is not so exciting. But it is really instructive and I will always remember the things I learn about autism.
