I LOVED this series as a child and re-reading it with my girls was just as fun as I hoped.

Feisty Harriet Love, love, love. I've been trying to find copies of all of these books, the later ones are out of print and can be tricky to find (also, they are my favorite).

Norah Baron This series and the Flight of the Doves were my favorite books as a child.
