Debt: The First 5,000 Years

I think someone wrote a review before, whose sentiments I somewhat share. It is an interesting book, and (my interpretation) the main idea centres on how the omnipresence of debt governs our current society, is certainly appealing.
The first couple of chapters do feel slightly drawn out and not always entirely coherent, but that might also be more due to a reader's impatience. The latter chapters make some amends, though never entirely satisfactory.
Overall interesting book, presenting interesting perspectives on the history of economics in general, and debt in particular. But a reader would be wise to complement this book with other books on the subject as well.
