really liked it

This is an imaginative and well-considered story that kept me with it until the end. Without spoiling the experience, I found the viewpoint of a 5 year-old riveting and the tone consistent without becoming boring. Finding out the circumstances by which a boy and his mother find themselves (since before his birth) in a world consisting of a single room was very compelling. Experiences in the outside world, while less enthralling were well executed. The author has a lot to say, though indirectly, about our culture and the way we treat the newsworthy.

Cecily I'm in a minority on GR: it's the tone I had a huge problem with. I didn't find Jack's voice remotely convincing, which distracted me from other aspects. Oh well.
