** spoiler alert ** So Yato's trapped with his sister Nora & his father & they're making him do these awful jobs of killing people (who are bad to begin with, but still...) & he wants to go back home to Hiyori so she won't forget him & they say if he does one last job, he'll be free to go, so he agrees. But they're going into the Underworld for this 'job,' he & Nora.
Meanwhile, Hiyori's busy with school & stuff & goes on a triple date with her friends to Capyperland - this place Yato loves & wants to see - & over there, she starts forgetting stuff & can't remember who Yato & Yukine are & OMG THE GUY SHE CAME WITH KISSES HER GROSS WHO THE FUCK HE THINK HE IS BITCH BACK OFF. And she remembers Yato when she runs into Yukine —who has been practicing his spell techniques with Kazuma & has gotten good at them - meanwhile, the Heavens called another meeting & got evidence that Ebisu is the sorcerer controlling the ayakashi & they go have his home searched & are killing his Shinki.
AND WHO DOES YATO ENCOUNTER IN THE UNDERWORLD. EBISU. AND HE IS LOOKING FOR THE WORDS OF THE UNDERWORLD WITH WHICH HE WILL BE ABLE TO CONTROL THE AYAKASHI. And Yato & Nora's job is to save him. And the volume ends with them encountering Izanami :O
