I really wanted to like this book but i just got fed up with it....70% in and I just can't take in anymore. As per my understanding, Shade come off as a very powerful witch on one hand with decades behind her even though she has been independent for only 3 years, but her daily behavior and the way she deals with the various situation her first investigations throws at her are "teenagery", "Klutzy", irresponsible and down right idiotic. when you get to the point of not caring about the main protagonist and even feeling she's just TSTL and actually hoping something does happen and good riddens...it's time to move on...
