I have so many thoughts that this might be kind of a rant, but you may be thinking, "Aren't all your reviews that?"

yes, you're right.

OH HOW I HAVE MISSED THESE CHARACTERS. Waiting for this book was pure torture & yet I find myself disappointed it have more to it? Don't get me wrong, I love Rhys & Feyre content more than anything & probably my favorite ship on the planet (besides Damon Salvatore & Elena Gilbert). But there's SO MUCH I NEED TO KNOW. I STILL HAVE A LOT OF QUESTIONS.

You get a glimpse into how everyone is fairing from the war & all that has changed. I liked that Maas gave us chapters with differing perspectives from each character but I WANTED MORE. Steamy scenes with Rhys & Feyre are great, but I want more of everyone.

How Nesta is trying to make of her new life (well she's not fairling well let's say that.) Nesta, I love you and all, but I WANTED TO STRANGLE YOU. Cassian is an angel & I honestly LOVE him as a character & how he's the only one who is willing to be bold enough with Nesta of how she is letting her life slip away. However, we get a sneak peek into the next book & I AM EXCITED FOR MORE NASSIAN SCENES, RIP TO ME.

& Elain. Honestly scenes with Elain were so good because you can see she's trying to cope with the loss of her old life, her father, & the loss of Greyson. She has ths darkness inside her since being Made & I wanted more of how she's developing with that.

Poor Lucein trying not to give up on Elain & lose patience. I feel bad for Lucien that he's had to put up with tamlin & all that crap. While Tamlin is literally sinking into darkness, I can't say I feel bad for him. But to have Lucien be there with Tamlin in that godforsaken house... Please Maas for all that is good, let Lucien be happy in the next book, please & thank you.

My poor angel Mor. I love her so much & I feel like she's a really underappreciated character. I want more of her trying to accept herself & keep growing from the living hell she went through with her father& Eric.

AZ YOU DESERVE ALL THE HAPPINESS IN THE WORLD & IT BREAKS MY HEART THAT HE WILL ALWAYS LOVE MOR.

Also I need more on Armens & Nestas friendship & how she helped her through the darkness.

This series will always be my favorite & nothing can top ACOMAF but Mrs. Maas I NEED MORE & I WENT THROUGH THIS BOOK TOO FAST & WE NEED MORE CONTENT. while yes I love Rhys & Feyre, I think there are more complex issues& all the growth everyone is going through from the war. I wanted to read about that more.

that aside, we get so many scenes where they are like a dysfunctional family. The witty remarks between everyone. MY HEART. The snowball scene, I reread that scene like 5 times.

& of course I'm going to mention, "Illyrian babies."

Was it everything I hoped for? No. Did it feel good to be reunited with these beautiful characters? YES. I have high expectations for the next book, Mrs Maas please don't destroy my soul because this series owns my entire existence.
