Not as good as his classic For Bread Alone - An Autobiograpy. This one covers his hatred of his father, his decision at the age of 20 to go to school to learn to read and write, the impact of the Spanish Civil War on Morocco, his relationships with prostitutes, a little holiday when he went "mad", various characters he drank with or slept with and the lives of those in poverty.
