A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1)

Damn this was a good book! I was blown away at how strongly I felt towards and against the characters in the book, and the way Martin ends each chapter made my imagination swirl! Each chapter title is the name of one of the main(er... lol) characters in the book and followed them throughout a world that was not too full of fantasy/magic/wizard crap. I was warned of the graphic violence, incest, and sex but I wasn't ready for the amount of it. There are a few chapters with almost too much, but not to worry, it isn't too descriptive.
Putting aside the downsides of this book (the length, but that is both a downside and an upside), it was great, and I am glad I read it. 100% recommend to fantasy/sci-fi/murder/mystery/romance/... readers.
