This is a dystopian novel that I hesitate to describe for fear of revealing too much to those who have not read it. My actual rating for this book would be 4.5, but I am rounding up because it makes one ponder a possible future. I found the book to be incredibly sad and the ending almost brought me to tears.

This is my second book by this author, the first being The Remains of the Day. I find his insights into personal interactions to be amazing. I will continue to read more of his books.
