Convoluted, overly-detailed and filled with unnecessary sex and violence. I'm not a prude, but this is over the top for graphic and frequent abuse and sex scenes. No thanks. I put it down after reading about half of it. If I care enough to find out what happens to the main characters, I'll read the Wikipedia entry. It's rare that I'll actually quit reading a book because I don't like it. But I don't even want to skim to find out the plot anymore.
