really liked it
bookshelves: 2019, best-since-i-joined-goodreads

Exceptionally violent with scenes and characters I will never forget. Glanton, brown, the judge, some of the most vicious characters in literature. And I love em.

Glanton especially has an aura of sorts around him in these pages. He is a mean killer, but shows compassion and loyalty to those who ride with him.

I loved the book, my second favorite McCarthy after suttree.

Round down four stars.
