DNF Chapter 22

Hero is a jerk. Bossy. Doesn't trust the Heroine. Only wants sex. There's no romance. He moves in with her, without asking, after a few days. He uses her ability to find the killer. He doesn't care that the Heroine suffers. He's commanding, letting her iron his cloths, washing his clothes and making him breakfast. He doesn't feel anything for her. Only lust. And he betrays her, in hope to catch a killer.
So not Hero material. And I hated that after all the Heroine went through, he wants to sleep with her as soon as possible. They know each other a few days and he does the deed. He justifies it, telling himself that he's helping her with her trauma. So not cool dude.

The Heroine was weak. I really felt for her and wanted her to find some peace and somebody to love her. Sadly she falls in love with the Hero in a few days. He takes her life over, completely. She just nods and says yes and that's it. I don't understand her feelings. There's nothing alluring about the Hero. He's just big and has muscles and is good looking. She doesn't even know him.

I just don't see them together. And after the Hero betrays her trust and is outing her to the world, he lost all respect. I don't find him Hero worthy so I won't read on. It would only upset me.
