I'm sitting here still in tears after finishing this book. It was incredibly beautiful and it ripped my heart out by the end. While I found it slow-going in the beginning, by about halfway through I couldn't put it down. I'm heartbroken and I feel like I'm drowning in despair for what these characters lost.... and what was never truly theirs to lose. The ending devastated me. This one will stay with me for a long time.
