Great story. The road trip, the parallel memory coming back in pieces, the philosophy pieced together from both ends. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because two-thirds through the book the author started going in circles and harping on the fine points of a concept he has already dissected to death. Besides that, a very enjoyable narrative and meaningful inquiry into values and society.
