Only six hundred pages in. Impressive how it how it feels like that there is not one word to many even though it's so long!
A stunning drama, whose length is anything but a detraction.
This master of a book literally gives me life. My mom gave it to me when I was young and I’ve been reading it over and over again as I progress in age in time. It’s so beautifully fabricated and well-crafted. Words can’t express enough how much this book means to me. It’s like having my own mother in a book too because it’s her favourite too. Makes me cry.
