This is more a novella with 80 pages.
It starts like a fantasy novel and turns to science fiction.
I was not sure whether to quit reading after a few pages but fortunately I read the whole story and was not disappointed at the end. There is a big cliffhanger.
I think it is a solid start of a new series which promises more.
