While I'm not ever going to see eye to eye with Rachel Held Evans on religion, this taught me a lot about a particular worldview and how women like her are questioning some "traditional" tenets. She, like a lot of religions, picks and chooses particular aspects of biblical womanhood to experiment with, including traditional Jewish practices.
