Ocean of Melancholy: The Tragedy that was Karbala

I love reading translated books and this has become one of my favourites now.
The story was originally written in Bengali by Bishad Sindhu. The book is about the the incident of Karbala on 10th October, AD680, i.e the demise of Hassan and Hussain, the grandson of prophet Mohammad.
Sometimes it happens that we dont visit some places and we just heard about them but with the help of this book, i could relate to the incident.
We all know that Muhharam is a sad day but we never knew the real story behind it. This book explains that in detail.
The characters are well balanced. It might make you emotional but at the same time surprised by the history.
I am impressed by the way all the events are put out.
