A friend of mine recommended this book to me and I almost immediately tore into it! There were very few times that I thought "when are we going to get past this part and move on." It just got better. The characters were interesting, the setting was unique (a circus in the 30's? When was the last time you read about that?), and the animals help make the book. I found myself actually becoming attached to some of them! I really enjoyed this book and I think you will, too.
