The word that comes to mind is revolting. I hated it, but I couldn’t put it down and that’s due to it being a ‘thriller! It’s actually hard to put it in that genre with a straight face, because it wasn’t a very good thriller at all. It was still a CoHo romance and I’m not her biggest fan anyway. It was trashy and extra and my eyes hurt from rolling!
I’m blown away by the ratings on this. If you are going to do it, the audiobook is a pretty good way to experience it. The voices and overall dramatic effect made it all the more creepy and fucked up. The ending... I don’t buy it. I think for the sake of having wasted my time listening to this, I have to believe the original storyline.
