I was curious to read it. The first part was interesting of her as a little girl. I could feel her problems with her mother. I had some of the same. But Oates did not know what happened. I felt cheap as if looking at someone else's notes. I did read it before so I've forgotten but I remember.

Masterpiece or pulp fiction? This character was not there. Marilyn or Norma jean is a character that was there. Her character was made up but she wasn't. Taking her life and making it into this was I don't think fair. The author doesn't know what happened. I have read so many things about her wonderful character.

Some things maybe Monroe as should not have done. The truth is more evil. Who was the real person? I would read her books but many times frustrated with the nonsense. I recommend the Kirkus review.

I don't think her first marriage in detail is fair. They love things where the woman is hurt. She doesn't know that. It's just playing to a common factor. If she was alive or relatives as they say she could sue. It's one thing for made up characters.

I saw one on a review here calling her stupid. I don't think she was or that that was fair. To poke fun at someone with a poor background is not fair. I am in Mensa. Maybe some poor choices. Maybe some bad choices. You think you are all so smart. I am reminded of how ridiculous some are.

Did someone actually believe that Tony Curtis didn't like her?

So I saw something on this on Twitter. It's kind of disturbing so I wrote it.
