Let's do as Boy 412 and Review some Facts..with my opinion.


FACT ONE. Not Urban-Fantasy: BAD
I was hoping for another Harry Potter kind of mixing real world with 'Magyk'.


FACT TWO. Rich World, smoothly built, easy to follow: GOOD


FACT THREE. Interesting Characters, nice family: GOOD

The Heaps...and The Supreme Witch 💜💜


FACT FOUR. Cliché Villains: BAD
And talking Rats act as humans, BAD. Really BAD.

FACT FIVE. Good mystery in the beginning.. a very good start: GOOD

FACT SIX. Action packed climax: BAD yet; Interesting Ending: GOOD
I loved the whole ancient history and the Hotep-Ra ring and all, but before that, too much was going on but felt not rich as the start of the novel...may be for the not that strong villain theme.. or may be..;

FACT SEVEN.I'm getting old: BAD

How the hell is this related? Well... I LOVE middle grade novels, it's sure written for younger generation, much younger than me, yet some of these novels can makes me feel young and thrilled... this one have some bits felt so...IDK, may be children appreciate it more..or just I'm seriously getting too old.

Yet, again the sense of humour in the writing style, the rich world and the promising ending sure will make me start book two sooner than I expected.
