This was my first time reading
The content of the book is presumably translated. It is rather a combination of simple 19th century romanticism and a pretentious attempt at discovering the philosophy of life. Not impressive.
The style of the translation by مي زيادة is rather disappointing. She was relying too much on arcane Arabic words and phrases, which was both distracting and hard to follow.
A disappointing read!
