I did enjoy this book. However, I couldn’t really identify with a lot of what she said about being African American... which she practically mentions in every page. I think she overdid it in that context.

I loved how she told of how her mother raised her and how she inturn is raising her daughters to be strong, independent women. That, I identified with.
