** spoiler alert ** Important, because as a nation, we've forgotten just how horrible and terrifying the Great Depression was. That said, even though I enjoyed (is that the right word?) the story, I was a little distracted by some of the storytelling devices. And it wasn't really clear to me what happened to Move and Rose, at the end. Something regrettable, so I assume they divorced, but there are other possibilities.
