The Queen of Nothing (The Folk of the Air, #3)

Is it weird that I want to reread this immediately?
I have so many thoughts.
So Jude- total awesome as usual. I just love her bloodthirsty little heart.
Cardan is the actual best of ever, I love his snark and his backstory and his honesty with Jude.
I was unsatisfied with the Taryn-Locke story. It doesn’t mesh with Taryn’s character how she suddenly starts behaving, it’s like a total new person. And Locke deserved much worse, I’m just sayin. Anticlimactic.
Madoc was complex and complicated and his relationship with Jude definitely played on my feelings.
Vivi and Heather’s relationship gets more complicated too, but somehow the angst is believable and shippable, unlike so many books I’ve snarled at lately.
The descriptions are lushly gorgeous and the dresses !!!!!! wow I want a fairy made dress. Please and thanks. And to everyone who said the epilogue is cheesy: cheese is delicious. The epilogue to Harry Potter is even cheesier.
I hope hope hope there’ll be a spinoff series. Maybe on Oak? Pleeeease. I cannot leave Elfhame so soon.

I just couldn’t make myself stop listening! And I totally called that twist towards the end. Full review to come. Maybe.
