A Spot of Bother

This was better than some of the reviews I read but not in the same league as 'The Curious Incident...' A somewhat sad narrative e on life seen through the life of one family. George has taken early retirement and he and his wife drift around each other in their middle class dull existence. Their children have less than straightforward lives as adults and an inability to have the ne essay grown up conversations with their parents. A trail of catastrophic and sometimes sad events shines a bright spotlight on this dysfunctional modern day family. That said, I felt sorry for George.....
