I'M SO FUCKIN' SMAD I TYPED UP A WHOLE ASS REVIEW FOR THIS JUST NOW ON MY IPAD AND WHEN I WENT TO POST THE STUPID SHITTY HOTEL WIFI DECIDED TO SHIT OUT ON ME AND I. LOST. ALL. OF. IT. XP
Now that we've got that out of the way...
Yeah, so we're back to form with the rating on this volume. Definitely left me with better feelings compared to the previous. So yay.
We see a return to classic form with Kyoko having to deal with a snobby stuck up bitch while trying to get a role. Which we actually haven't had happen in a while, so, nice. *thumbs up* (view spoiler) (Also kinda cool to see how Nakamura's art style has evolved with the use of the flashback panels. I kinda like that they don't have her redraw them for newer chapters. Her older art is rather Sailor Moon-esque, which I think is neat. :3)
Okay now...Kanae & Hio. I'm...still not into it. I think he's meant to be like...13? Which, is *slightly* better than what I thought, I suppose (I literally thought he was like 10 so...), considering Kanae is what, 17/18? Like, I'm fine with him having a cute little crush on her, but idk. It's just not for me personally, I guess. Also speaking of Moko-san's love life, seeing her interact with Yashiro in this volume left a proverbial wistful tear in my eye, since I once read a fic where they were a secondary couple (to Ren x Kyoko obvs) and idk I guess it made me develop a fondness for the idea of them even tho I knew it would never happen in canon. T_T
Also tho...was Ren even IN this volume? I don't think he was which makes me v sadface. At least things are getting a little juicy with his as-of-yet unseen super late White Day gift for Kyoko (and the hoops this silly gurl is jumping thru to deny that that big Tsuruga present is coming tho...omfg child istg). Oh, and Yashiro being her temporary manager. That seems like it'll be a whole lot of fun. ;D
Overall, seems like there's a lot of good stuff on the way. Alas, my last two volumes I have checked out from the library are literally a whole ass other country away from me rn, so it'll be a week or so until I can get to them. *sigh* Oh well, see ya then. XP
