I really wanted to give this 5 stars, because I loved the trilogy SO much!
But I couldn't do that ending.
I'm not sure if it just felt like a cop-out, or it just didn't fit with what had been going on and any number of possibilities that I'd been expecting.
If it weren't for that ending, I might have had a new favorite series.
I still will recommend it overall, but might give a warning about the last book being kind of disappointing...
