The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, what can really he said about it at this point. It may seem tame by today's fantasy standards, but it is still a simple and enchanting story for it's intended audience...children. As I read it, I mentally followed the movie version, and while I can understand the directorial decisions, I would like to have seen some more of the book elements made it into the classic movie.
