A crushingly dull, plotless novel, bursting with its own sense of "capturing the moment". The whole thing has a languid, "anything will do" air, and like a third-world road with an abrupt funding crisis, the story just ends in the middle of nowhere.

Seriously guys: avoid this slab of mediocrity and ignore the rave (or raving) reviews it's getting.
