it was amazing
bookshelves: short-story, 2019

Growing up on fairy tales where the princess had to find her prince to fulfill her life's purpose of the happily ever after is something I look back upon with skepticism. Not all of us are meant to take that path and the path presented by those stories is never as simple as they make it. That is why I loved this story. It shows it isn't always easy and that all parties have their wants and needs that carry equal weight. The writing was perfection and I will remember this story with fondness for years to come.
