I do not get the hype surrounding this book. I had such a problem with the characterizations. Bella is one note throughout the book and talks about the same thing; Edwards face. The narrative was melodramtic at times. Descriptions made no sense. How many times do we have to read about Edwards white face? Edward spoke in cliches. I wanted this book to be better than what it was. It was weak on so many levels. It was unimaginative and lacked intelligence. I needed Meyer to be more clever!
