Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West (The Wicked Years, #1)

Vaguely entertaining, but all disconnected. Dialogue meanders at the edge of nonsense; characters are composed piecemeal of confusion and incomprehensible inner conflict. Everything is second-guessed strife, and nothing proceeds logically. Compelling concept, clumsy execution-- stumbling, laboriously careening prose. A frustrating read.
