A great example of male white Buddhism. Not to say it's a bad thing, but it is a different thing. I liked that this was more about nature than people, like On the Road, the descriptions danced around my eyes quite playfully. I enjoyed participating in the debates Ray and Jaffy had, often debates I've had within myself, and it was wonderful to realize there is not answer. There is not right. There just is.
This book is was more queer than anyone cares to admit and I like that very much. I crave being a young cis man in this time period. What a simp I am.
