Don't waste your time reading this book. Worst book I've read for 2019. I don't understand why this book was so hyped up. So much rubbish that made no sense, boring characters that obviously had nothing in common. A poor dog that should be dead. It was just a boring read, thank goodness it was short.

It’s a beautifully written book with wonderfully drawn characters. Horses 🐎 for courses, I guess!

Geez Linds, It’s a short read. If you don’t like it, give it a miss. Charlotte Wood won’t be crying any salty tears,, as it’s a raving success.Plenty of lighter books out there for those who might find Stella winners a bit highbrow.
I agree don’t waste your time. I thought these women were meant to be friends but the way I read it they couldn’t stand one another. If it wasn’t for Sylvia dying they would not have gone on “holiday�.
I think I’ll reread The Weekend now.
